The ratio of the number of information bits to the total number of bits in a code word is called the rate of a code. High rates, approaching 1, are desirable for efficient transmission of information. Create a spreadsheet for the rates of distance-2 parity codes and distance-3 and -4 Hamming codes for up to 80 information bits. Compare the results in a plot.
