There are many other benefits of attending college and getting a degree, besides the obvious increase in your chances for a better job and higher pay. The more you know, the better you would do with your own business, as well. Anyway; learning is always worth it, for its own sake. It can open your eyes to - and your understanding of - many things that are going on in the world that you never were aware existed. All of a sudden, the nightly news becomes more interesting. Also, do not forget that college is a place to make new contacts, some of which it is in your best interest to keep alive after you are finished with school. Even though online learning is not a face-to-face experience, at the University of Phoenix you will join many different learning teams as you progress through the coursework; and, will "meet" with teammates who can introduce you (and you them) to jobs and experiences that will also widen your horizons. ("I never knew you could make a living doing THAT...!") Most of you take at least some part in different social media: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and many others that I have never heard of. Be sure to check out "PhoenixLink," "Yammer," etc., in our own Phoenix world, and talk things over with your fellow UoPX students, outside of class.
