Thesis topic: Whether you are writing a thesis or not, you are to come up with a topic that you feel would make a good area of exploration for a thesis. This will be the topic of your thesis template/literature review and the research paper. It should be no more than 1 page in length with Times New Roman font, 1 inch margins on all sides, no more the one blank space between paragraphs, etc.. the thesis template/literature review and the research paper must be on the same topic. This submission MUST contain: your topic, a problem statement (or an explanation of why you are are writing this paper), and a clearly defined hypothesis, or research question(s). If your submission does not contain these, the submission will not be graded and a zero (0) posted. Your topic is limited to the field of information technology, broadly defined (networking, programming, project management, database, Web technologies, etc) and can include any topic related to any of these technologies (e.g., cyber security). Papers from the domains of computer science and information systems are included in this scope.
