Think about record management systems and how they apply to operational planning. After doing some research online, or in consideration of current experience using a records management system, pick one system to describe and answer the following questions:

1. Describe the record management system. Provide enough detail that someone looking at yourdescriptionwould be able to clearly understand the system.
2. If you use the system, explain what might be the impact on the operations? If this is a system that you found via research, use reference information to explain and justify what the assumed impacts on operations might be.
3. What is the likelihood of this system being used in your work? Why? Use an analysis of advantages to justify the likelihood.
4. If the record management system is used, what steps and strategies will you recommend to ensure that the system is implemented properly?

Your submission should be a Word document that applies memo format and adhere to professional standards of grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation. Remember - using secondary sources to justify ideas is always recommended; add to the information by sharing your resources within the body of the memo, and by listing references at the end of the memo.

The grading criteria in the rubric are:

Critical Thinking - Illustrates, and provides detailed examples that communicate an understanding of records management systems.

Expands upon the material presented with additional information - One way to do this would be to provide an in-text citation/reference for information sought from outside of the assigned module materials. In other words, support, justify and explain where you got the information that informed the ideas you shared in the journal.

Responses are complete, mostly grammatically correct, and flow together easily
