Think about some of your favorite childhood movies, how easy was it for you to identify the hero and the villain? Did the villain look obvious? For example, Scar from the movie The Lion King had a visible scar on his eye and was often see with a dark cloud around him. Whereas Simba was bright and lively, a stark contrast to Scar. As you reflect on different movies, think about how classical conditioning played a role in you being able to easily identify the main characters.
