Think about what industry/job/company/etc you would like to work for/in and tailor your resume to that.

Share your resume with another classmate and have them share their resume with you. Pretend that the classmate is a hiring manager for the position you want; collect and gather feedback from each other about the areas you could improve your resume, areas where it is great, and any other feedback and incorporate that advice to improve your resume.

Page 1 - in one page, provide your revised resume that has incorporated the feedback from your classmate. Challenge yourself to fit your resume in one page!

Page 2 to 3 - describe your career goals/objectives and where you see yourself in the future (what company? what sector? what job? etc). Describe the feedback given to you from your classmate (what did they think? what areas were good? what areas did they recommend changing?) . Outline how you incorporated their feedback and what changes you made and how your resume showcases that. Describe the experience of looking at your classmates resume and pretending you were the hiring manager looking at their resume ; what things did you look for in their resume? what stood out to you? what feedback did you provide them with? what advice would you offer to people writing their resumes and job hunting?
