This assignment allows you to examine your own perceptions of yourself and share with your classmates by creating a self-collage using at least four different pictures that relate to your four quadrants of the Johariwindow. You will also write short reflection paragraphs about each of those quadrants.

You have the opportunity to disclose as much or as little as you would like, but do take the time to meet these assignment objectives:

1.Connect course concepts to your own understanding of self

2.Begin a self-analysis of your own self-concept and how others perceive you

3.Evaluate yourself in terms of what is most important to you, what relationships you value, what interests take priority, and how these things have changed through the years

4.Exercise creativity in examining yourself and your relationships

Here you will upload a series of pictures that describe you and provide a written description of how these pictures reflect you. These photos can be personal photos or pictures you download from the Internet.

Each picture should describe you as your concept of self relates to a quadrant of the Johari window. So, you should have one picture or group of pictures that describe your "open" self, one that describes your "hidden" self, one that describes your "blind" self, and one that describes your "unknown" self.

Assignment:

1. Upload 4 pictures as described above.
2. post that contains at least four paragraphs. Each paragraph should describe the picture(s) you chose for one of the quadrants of the Johariwindow and tell us why you chose each of the pictures that you did for that aspect of your "self" as well as anything else you want to disclose about that aspect of self.So, one paragraph is labeled "Open" or "Public," one labeled "Hidden," one labeled "Blind," and one labeled "Unknown."You do not have to disclose anything you are not comfortable disclosing, but you should significant post of at least one complete paragraph for each quadrant.
3. Use course concepts (the vocabulary from the textbook) in each paragraph. Useboldor ALL CAPS when you use a vocabulary word so that I know you are using it deliberately.This assignment is worth 25 points, so your effort and thought should reflect the point value of the assignment.
