• A five-member core group of stakeholders (a project council) will function as the sponsor of your trip and will need to approve the project charter, which you will create.Note that the definition of stakeholder according to PMI is "an individual, group, or organization who may affect, be affected by, or perceive itself to be affected by a decision, activity, or outcome of a project"and that is the definition we are using here.
• The group must consist of a minimum of 20 adult members. The trip can also involve children.
• Members must be from at least 2different countries in 2different time zones.
• The trip needs to last for a minimum of seven days.
• The trip will take place in the next year.

In thisassignment, we would like you to recall what you have learned about project charters and apply those concepts to develop a project charter for your group trip.

As explained in Section A, the project charter is used to formally authorize the project. Therefore, it needs to address the objectives andrequirements of the projectand summarize the key aspects of the trip. In other words, it briefly states what the trip is and why it is to take place.

Here is an example of a short project charter: RN o, Project Title: High School Renovation Project Project Number: 0023 Project Start: June 1, 2021 Project Finish (estimate): August 29, 2021 Purpose/Objectives: Renovate and update high school building technology and related infrastructure.
