This assignment requires students to review Key Components of a Social Media Plan and Creating Social Media Campaigns pages and all other relevant module readings. After completing the readings, please develop a social media campaign for the team of your choice (could be professional or amateur). Please perform the following tasks to complete this assignment:

Social Media Audit:

• Research social media sites of the sport property and perform an audit: # of followers, type and frequency of posts, level of engagement with followers (review the past 6-12 months, and create a table to communicate overall findings)
• Research 1-2 competitors social media sites (review the past 3-6 months, and create a table to communicate overall findings)
• Based on your review, what is your finding? Summarize the overall performance and state of the social media channels of the sport property.

Social Media Campaign Development:

• Design a social media campaign for a purpose. (Purpose is up to you! But you are required to clearly present what you are promoting! An event, draft night etc.). Please note - focus on 1 event/game/series.
• What is the overall goal? Consider each social media channel that will be used. How will you measure the outcome of the campaign? Propose metrics aligned with the goals.
• Based on the purpose and goals, how will you use various social media channels? What kind of content is needed for each channel?
• Develop a calendar for the posts and create the content. (Keep your calendar limited to 1-2 weeks (it would be helpful to do 1 week before the event, and then a couple days after for recaps/thank you's/follow-up.)
