With this plan, your company will match your contributions as you save for retirement through automatic paycheck deductions. Contributions of Employees Depending on your years of service, as an employee, you will be entitled to contribute a portion of your normal pay to the Group RRSP: fewer than two years of service: One percent of your pay More than two and up to three years of service: Two percent of your pay More than three to four years of service: Three percent of your pay More than four to five years of service: Four percent of your pay Over five years of employment: Five percent of your pay Your taxable income will be decreased, as well as the amount of income tax, CPP, and EI premiums withdrawn from your pay, as a result of these employee contributions being subtracted from your gross pay
