in order to determine the discount rate for an investment project, say one from the Exploration and Production (E&P) Division, we needed to finda company in the same business in the stock marketand compute its WACC. For example, say Worthington Petroleum (see Exhibit 5in the case). Why is it that instead of computing the WACC of Worthington Petroleum (a traded company), we are computing the WACC of the
