This week students should discuss the value of taking and passing industry certifications and anything related to internships, co$-$ops, and best ways of getting your foot in the door to gain experience or employment, or the soft skills employers are looking for. I have always advised students in order to give themselves the best chance at employment they should follow the $3$ legged stool process. Need education, certifications, & experience. I have found that students with all three of these usually have no problem finding work and being successful.
