One concept that particularly stood out to me was the idea of "Supply Chain Integration." The integration involves not just the internal processes of a company but also extends to how it interacts with suppliers and customers. Another term that was new to me was "Demand-Driven Supply Chains." This approach focuses on building a supply chain that is highly responsive to customer demands. It contrasts with the traditional supply-centric model and places customer demand at the heart of supply chain operations. This shift requires real-time data analytics and a flexible operational model, enabling companies to quickly adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions. I also learned about "Supply Chain Visibility," which refers to the ability of all stakeholders in the supply chain to access real-time data regarding the movement of goods, inventory levels, and production schedules.
