Tina loves drinking hot coffee in the morning. She saves up for months to buy an expensive coffee machine. There are a couple of brands of coffee machine available at her local department store but none of them have any information about how hot they make the coffee. She asks the salesman if any of the machines can steam milk to 75 degrees Celsius because she loves hot coffee. The salesman recommends Tina purchase the Roma, a $3,000 coffee machine made in Italy that can steam milk to 80 degrees Celsius.
Tina buys the machine but is disappointed to discover it can only steam milk to 60 degrees Celsius. Moreover, the machine appears to have safety defect. It squirts hot coffee all over Tina although, thankfully, she is not injured. Tina returns the defective machine to the department store but the salesman tells her she will have to pay for the repairs herself. The repair parts must be imported from Italy with a 3 month shipping delay and a cost of $1,200.
