Recently, Tom attended a party with friendsthe party was hosted by friends of friends, and he did not know the people well. While at the party, Tom admits to smoking marijuana. Later that night, he was arrested for acting strangely in a local supermarket. Tom was approached by the police when the manager saw him wandering up and down the aisles aimlessly taking items off of the shelves. Tom was arrested for public intoxication and spent the night in jail. The judge sent him to you for an evaluation. When questioned, Tom admits to trying marijuana in the past, but never with these results. He also admits to occasional use of other drugs (such as alcohol and cocaine). He reports that he is not particularly fond of the drugs he uses; he only partakes to fit in with his friends who seem to enjoy getting high.
