This project will focus on the following concepts previously learned: Equivalent Fractions Ratios Proportional Relationships Cost Each student will make a PPT presentation of the necessary information, including a pictures of packaged consumer products they have compared. MATERIALS required: Project Worksheet: "Better bargain" including references on its cost and comparisons along with call log mentioning the enquiries you made / references to the website. Format Introduction, discussion and conclusion Maximum words 1,500 Plagiarism not more than 10% Computer/Internet Access Calculators Part 1: You will apply ratios and proportions to calculate better bargains for packaged consumer products. You need to identify minimum 12 packaged consumer products of different sizes. Each item of consumer product compared to should belong to same brand. For e.g. Heinz tomato ketchup in the pack of 3 small bottles or a big bottle of Heinz ketchup. Identify the cost for such different packages and which buy will be better bargain. Show the detailed calculation for each of the product compared. . You can refer to various websites like Carrefour, Lulu, Al meera etc. .
