List the variables below and describe in words what you predict the relationship between them to be. Do you believe that there MIGHT be a causal relationship between them? If so, describe that in causal terms. If not, do you think there might be a third variable(or fourth) that might help explain the fact that as one variable increases, so does the other?

Now do the same thing with two variables that can be measured in college age students that you think are strongly negatively correlated. That is, among those with higher measurements/scores in one variable, you find lower scores/measurements in the other variable. Answer the same questions as in #5 for these two variables.
