Two Filipinas Air planes fly to Basco, Batanes (BSO) from Manila (MNL) and Clark (CRK) and vice versa every day. One is scheduled in the morning and the other is scheduled in the afternoon. For the month of August 2018, Filipinas Air registered an on-time flight performance for its MNL-BSO-MNL and CRK-BSO-CRK flights of 62.3%. Records also show that 97.5% of the time does flights from either Manila or Clark leave on time. Knowing that these two areindependentflights, and the on-time flight performance of plane coming from Clark is better than from Manila, determine the on-time flight performance of (a) MNL-BSO-MNL and (b) CRK-BSO-CRK flights.
