Uji, Selvi, and Shan are partners of a firm.

Eighteen months ago, Selvi lent the firm RM25,000 when the firm was going through financial difficulties. She now wants to claim the money but Uji and Shan have refused to pay her. They claim that she has no right to it because as a partner, all money given to the firm is considered a contribution to it.

Does Selvi have a legal right to get the money back?
