UNIT 3 ACTIVITY T Create a Design for the Front Page of a Tech Paper There's good news, and there's better news. Which would you like to hear first? Okay, let's start with the good news: Your latest article has made the front page! And what could be better than that, you may well ask? You're also the designer! (Okay, so it's also true that you're not exactly employed at The New York Times.) You need to create a visually appealing geometric design for the front page of a tech paper. The title of your article is "Trending Up: VR and Al at Work." Be sure to mention the title and author's name (that's you), as well as the company that commissioned the article (your choice), before starting to create your design. And the paper in which you're publishing should probably have a name, too, right? Create a separate Word document that contains only the name of the tech paper and save it. When you're ready to add the paper's name to the top of the front page, open your document's header and insert the tech paper's name by importing the text from your newly created document (i.e., the document that only contains the tech paper's name) Review what you learned in the unit and design a page that is both visually appealing and coherent. Choose at least five different elements from among the Word tools you read about, including SmartArt, clipart and shapes. After considering what you learned in the unit about the principles of design, you must also write up and submit a brief description of how and why you arranged your elements the way you did
