ROBLEM: You are given the motor whose transfer function is shown in Figure 5 Gain Design 2 You want to improve the closed-loop response. Since the motor constants cannot be changed and you cannot use a different motor, an amplifier and tachometer are inserted into the loop as was shown in the Figure. a) Find the values of K1 to yield a percent overshoot of 25% if Kf=1.56. b) Use MATLAB to simulate the compensated closed loop system for a unit step input. c) Compare the results you obtained in part b with the requirement in part a. d) Implement the obtained controller (K1) using and active operational amplifier circuit.
