USE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO ANSWER THE NEXT 3 QUESTIONS. The Moody Blues Company has a joint process. Each batch of product creates joint costs of $24,000 and 2 major products are identified at the split-off point (A and B). There are 2,000 pounds of A at the split-off point. These pounds can be sold at the split-off point for $15 per pound. However, the company processes Product A further at a cost of $5 per pound, and then sells each pound of Product A for $40. The added processing does not change the volume of Product A. There are 3,000 pounds of Product B at the split-off point, and these pounds have no sales value at that point. Product B is processed further at a total cost of $50,000. The added processing increases the total volume of Product B from 3,000 pounds to 6,000 pounds. Aftrer the added processing, each pound of Product B can be sold for $20. Assume the company uses the physical volume method to allocate the joint costs. Compute the total production cost of each pound of Product A. Round to the nearest cent. if needed. Show enough of your work that I can give you partial credit if needed. Question 15 4 pts Now assume that the Moody Blues Company uses the net realizable value method (as I discussed it in class) to allocate the joint costs. Compute the total production cost of each pound of Product A. Round to the nearest cent, if needed. Again show enough work that I can give partial credit, please. Question 16 Compared to selling Product A at the split-off point, how much better off (in TOTAL dollars per batch) is the company by processing Product A further
