Use your online searching skills to identify one not-for-profit organization that is working to bring more technology equality. This organization might work on a local, regional, or global level. Find two trustworthy sources that can provide information for your background report. Review the sources and determine a minimum of 5 sections that will convey important information for your background report. Make sure you determine sections that provide some background information about the organization for readers who know nothing about this organization. Some of your information might include (but is certainly not limited to) the purpose of the organization and area of tech inequity trying to solve, target groups/individuals, geographic scope, date founded, successful projects to date, employees, successes, controversies, funding models, effects of organization in the community, why it was created, how it came to be, etc. Look at the technical background report categories for suggestions on what to include. give an outline to show the support information/notes you collected as you read the sources. Make sure you have a system to record where (what site and what section/paragraph of the website) the information comes from! Think of this task as being the outline of the short report . As an outline, point form is acceptable and encouraged. You MUST identify the source of information in your table (in some way). Given the scope and time of this assignment, you are advised to have only the two informational sources. Give a minimum of three reasons why you find each source useful, trustworthy, and of good quality. Make sure you explain your reasons. For example, if you say the source is current, give the "evidence" (when it was published/updated), and explain why time is sufficiently current for this topic. If you can, give at least one concern, one question, or one idea for improvement in each resource Why did you choose these organizations to focus on? Write one well-structured paragraph to explain why you chose to focus on it. Think about reasons that are personal to you (remember, choose an organization that has meaning for you!)
