We assume that the Web page consists of the following: 1 base HTML - file ( of size L = 8 0 0 0 bits

We assume that the Web page consists of the following:
1 base HTML-file (of size L=8000 bits)
4 images (each of size L=10000 bits)
The transmission rate of the link is R=100 Mbps
each RTT =1 sec
(a) Approximately how long does it take for the page (including images) to
appear on the users screen in non-persistent HTTP protocol?
(b) Approximately how long does it take for the page (including images) to
appear on the users screen in persistent HTTP protocol?
For the above questions, can these formula work?
Non-persistent HTTP:
1+M TCP connections in series
Response time =(1+M)L/R +(1+M)2RTT
Persistent HTTP:
2 RTT to request and receive base HTML-file
1 RTT to request and receive M images
Response time =(1+M) L/R +3RTT
