We had an estimate on solar panels, and even with the tax break, it still would have cost us in the end. The article mentions it is the cheapest form of electricity, but what they don't mention is how much it costs up front! I wonder how cheap it become in the years to come.. perhaps solar panels are just expensive in my area because we live in the middle of the desert
