We will explore linear models with a categorical variable with three levels via an example. The website Zagat.com gives information about restau- rants. Here we explore data on 192 Italian restaurants, and it is of interest whether the cost of a meal Y (in US$) varies by city. Of the restaurants, 63 were in Boston (US), 82 were in London (UK), and 46 were in New York (US)
