What are the measurements to take for a future pair of scissors to support the specification of the scissors?

Provide a list of performance measures (counts, measurements, or functions of counts and measurements) as well as their mathematical definition to specify the performance of a pair of scissors.

Invent new performance measures that would help with the design process. Make a reasonable attempt to specify appropriate targets for each of those measures. It would be beneficial to use the house of quality approach to define the most relevant measures. I.e., brainstorm what a customer would expect of scissors, translate those into things that can be measured (including functional requirements), and then supply your answers to the 3 questions. 5 relevant measurements are required for the design, and at least 5 performance measures. The performance measures should all be defined in terms of the measurements identified in the first question.
