3. Do you think your tastes in art are influenced by European values, culture, and/ or beauty standards? How so? Why not? For example, many European art traditions have historically valued these attributes:
   • Mastery of Specific Techniques - European art historically includes a focus on and mastery of the following techniques: oil painting, drawing, fresco, printmaking (including engraving, woodcuts, and etching), sculpture (marble and bronze), tempera painting, etc.
   • Realism - It looks like it is 'real' (i.e. accurate or detailed depiction of nature or life as seen with the eye)
   • Beauty - It conforms to European standards of beauty like having fair skin, eyes, hair, etc.
   • European Culture - It captures European religion, values, practices
