One organization that I would donate money, and my time into is Sunny Sky’s Animal Rescue. Sunny Sky’s is a small non profit animal rescue. Currently, they lost their building during a fire so they have been placing all their animals into foster homes while trying to find them permanent homes. Another reason why I chose this organization is because I actually rescued one of my dogs from them. All in all, I love what they do for animals, and how many pets they are able to rescue.
What would motivate me to donate anonymously is just knowing that I helped or saved an animal(s) . If I were to donate to an organization, I wouldn’t need my name plastered all over. When it comes to donating I feel like just knowing that you helped someone or something is all you really need as motivation to donate.

I am most passionate about causes that center around protecting and conserving the natural world/environment. I would (and do!) definitely donate time and money to help with this issue. In particular I try to seek out organizations that I feel are making measurable progress or changes so I can track the success of the work being undertaken and won't worry that donations are being wasted.
If you believe in something strongly, personal conviction should be enough to motivate you, not ego or pumping up your reputation. If you're only supporting a cause because you think you will get thanks or credit for it, what does that say about your real motivations for supporting that cause? I either donate time/money because I personally care, or I don't--getting thanks or credit doesn't enter into it. Since the health of our planet and its ecosystems affects all life on Earth, I particularly don't think it makes sense to turn an issue like this into a chance to brag or take credit for helping with it.
