what do you think about this response. respond in 250 words

As a child, I experienced both the Authoritarian and Permissive parenting styles. An Authoritarian parenting style combines high control with little warmthKail & Cavanaugh (2023). Whereas, Permissive parenting offers warmth but little control Kail & Cavanaugh (2023). My father being more authoritarian, set the example of being the authoritarian figure, limiting the room for a response or discussion. This created a unique dynamic within our family, as my brother and I were very limited in the freedoms we saw that our peers were allowed to participate in. My Mother, on the other hand, was very permissive. We rarely received punishments for our actions and were allowed much more freedom in our liberties. Most times, if a problem were to occur she would simply call our Father to handle the punishments. I've never taken much thought of the dynamic but, as an adult, I would say it was indeed to protect us from the harms within our environment. As a child, I knew what was allowed and what wasn't. So as long as the actions I took, were within the guidelines of their rules, I should be fine. I question whether or not their parenting styles, truly affected my troublesome childhood. If they were indeed the cause of my insecurities, poor grades, and multiple suspensions, I would obtain within a school year. Could it be, that many of my outbursts and aggressive behaviors were because of the restrictive dynamic within the household? Or, was I truly just a troublesome child unable to overcome the barriers he faced? As a Father now, I lean toward the authoritarian parenting style but am I simply repeating the cycle that was inflicted on me? As a Father, I've grown to understand my Father's actions; behind his reasons for being so strict. Yes, his warmth was subtle and his respect was given but maybe if he had been able to encourage discussion, I wouldn't have been so troublesome. Maybe, I should take the initiative to change my parenting style to authoritative so my children can have that room for discussion with me and deffer from the troublesome childhood I had.
