For this week's post, I am going to talk about the crowdfunding website called Kickstarter. The mission of this website is to list and display products that are not fully funded. The goal of the Kickstarter site is to show the products to people so that they can fund them to become a full-on product. During the initial funding of the site, anyone can visit the Kickstarter site to fund the product. Once the product reaches enough funding, it can become its own product outside of the Kickstarter site. Most of the products on the website are related to the technology industry. The products are supported by anyone. Anyone can go and donate money towards a product. There have been a few products that have interested me over the years. One of them was a backpack that I currently own. I supported the funding for this idea as well. The backpack is a technology focused pack, with multiple storage pockets and compartments for different equipment. It is also shaped with a slim design to allow for a nice look. I have also funded a few other things as well on this site. At one point, there were iPhone charging cables that were being developed. I helped to fund them and watch the company grow into a fully funded company. After browsing around the site while making this post, I found a lot of other cool products that are currently being funded. The idea of this site is to help others to allow their mission to become successful. Without the help of other people, the products to not go anywhere.
