Which leadership style does this come close to the coaching leadership style? I ask this because all leaders are supposed to be able to coach and develop their team whether they do so or not. I have witnessed all forms of coaching throughout my career in the military, corporate, and academic settings. As an executive coach, I see the need to coach leaders so they can experience what coaching is about and be able to coach others. I truly believe that coaching has to come from the heart so that it can come across as a genuine sense of caring for others. I also believe that coaching should not be just to correct behavior but more to develop people to gain their professional goals. Thoughts?
