Who would intentionally dive into freezing water that never gets warmer than "ten degrees Celsius"? Would you dare?!! Surprisingly, many Canadian scuba divers jump at this opportunity 360 days a year! Such incident surprises many Scuba divers in the world. Therefore, Canada may well be the last place one would associate with this exciting water sport because of the climate and freezing ponds. Although serious scuba divers might pretend that the freezing, cold, and ?dark waters would not have much to offer them, they should consider Vancouver Island as a diving destination because it offers peace of mind, a wide diversity of dive sites, and a plethora of animal life.
