Scenario: B-Fit Inc. is a major fitness company with wellness resorts, fitness centers, and holiday spas throughout the eastem United States and Bermuda. The company is committed to healthy living and aims to begin with its own employees. In addition to providing exemplary health improvement benefits to all its employees, B-Fit wants to implement a "Good Life" Benefits Plan. The Plan will allow the employee to contribute a percentage of his/her salary each month and the company will match up to a maximum of 5%. e.g. If the employee contributes 3% of his salary, then B-Fit will also contribute 3%; if the employee contributes 5%, then B-Fit will contribute 5%; if he contributes 7%, B-Fit will contribute 5%. You have been assigned the project to design a prototype of the Plan. You will use Excel to prepare the information that will help management decide whether the Plan will be beneficial to employees. Part 2 The company has employees in different states. The HR department for the main office in New York wants to create a worksheet to further support decision making. This sheet will contain data from three of the states. The data from New Jersey, the data from Maine, and the data from Virginia are in the EMPLOYEES worksheet of the Test1Review.xlsx file. In the EMPLOYEES worksheet do the following - Format the date of birth column using the short date format - Calculate the age of each employee to the nearest year use the ROUND, YEARFRAC and NOWO functions - Calculate the years to retirement (retirement age is 65). The result should be 0 for anyone who is 65 or more - Use a lookup function to determine the Retirement Class of each employee. The CATEGORIES worksheet shows the retirement class for each age group - Determine whether or not an employee will be sent a copy of the calculations. Employees who are under 50 from Maine who will be notified, others will not. Use an appropriate formula to determine Y or N for the notify column Your worksheets should be well formatted to improve readability e.g. currency, \%, alignment, borders, colors, etc. Points will be deducted if literal values are used in formulas where cell names or cell references should be used.
