Mr. and Mrs. Smith go to Sutton zoo for a day trip. Mrs. Smith goes into the Zoo caf which is being renovated.

The contractors have left a very small sign next to a hole in the floor, which says "Caution Danger".

Mrs. Smith does not see the sign because she is looking at her guide book. She falls into the hole, breaks her ankle and rips her Gucci jeans.

Mr. Smith walks through a door marked "Private Staff Only" into a room filled with poisonous spiders and is bitten on his eye.

He screams "help me I am dying". Doctor White, a visitor, hears Mr. Smith's cry for help and rushes into the room.

Dr. White is bitten by one of the spiders he suffers an allergic reaction and dies.

With reference to tort principles and case law advise Mr. and Mrs. Smith and the family of Dr. White.
