Write a memo to the executive director that explains the basics of philanthropy and

development and makes the case for starting with fundraising from individuals. At the very

least, make sure to:

$$ define philanthropy and fundraising as we have in class,

$$ address the basics of the fundraising cycle and the constituency model,

$$ note pros$/$cons of raising money from $$big philanthropy$,$ and

$$ debunk at least $4$ of the $8$ myths of fundraising covered in the reading.
