Task 2 The force F (in Newtons) required to move an object a distance x metres is given by the equation: F =16+3x2 I Draw a graph of F against x for the range x -0 to x =3m. ii ) On your graph indicate the space that represents the work done by the force when moving the object from x =0 to x = X m. iii) Use integral calculus to find the work done by the force when moving the object from x =0 to x = Xm. b ) The equation for velocity v (in ms 1) is given by v = 15t3 + 4t + 1 where t is the time in seconds. Draw a graph of v against t for the range z - 0 to z = 5 seconds. ii) On your graph indicate the space that represents the distance travelled between t =1 and t = 4 seconds. iii) Use integral calculus to find the distance travelled between z =1 to z =4 seconds. Evidence you must produce for this task You need to provide calculations with clear working and correct units to show how you have worked out your answers. Your individual value for X will need to be obtained from appendix 3 at the rear of this assignment.
