You and your group have been invited to prepare a submission to the Franklin Innovation Seminar$$s $$Writing in the Professions$$ digital conference. Your submission will include two parts: $1)$ a formal report that will be shared with your seminar participants and $2)$ a digital artifact that will be posted on the online conference web page, which for the purposes of this class, will be our discussion board.

Both items should address the central question $$What distinguishes writing and communication in a particular discipline, field, or profession?$$ To answer this question, you will conduct both primary and secondary research. What seem to be the strengths of the proposed research plan? What will conducting research as it is proposed allow the group to accomplish? What alternative research strategies might the group consider? Why?

Has the group allotted a realistic amount of time for each writing and research task? What tasks might they be over or underestimating?

Does the work seem to be fairly distributed among group members? If not, what changes to the plan might be made?

How does your group$$s plan compare to this plan? What are the central similarities and differences, and what might these suggest about each group$$s approach to collaborative writing and research? Include references and resources. What would an outline look like?
