You are an HR Leader at a growing tech company who has been allowing employees to choose between working remotely or coming to the office in Waterloo. Lately, you've been getting mixed feedback on your hybrid policy. The CEO is asking you as his strategic HR advisor to make a recommendation and implement a plan to determine the organization's new policy on remote and/or hybrid work. Some employees have been coming by your office to say they want people to be in the office more. They miss the fun culture the team used to have in person. Other employees that work remotely have been telling you over Zoom calls that they feel like they're treated differently. They don't believe they have the same career opportunities available to them as in-office employees. Keep in mind, you currently have an employee headcount of roughly 200 employees spread out over North America and only one office in Waterloo. The office space could fit all 200 employees, but only about 75% of employees live within under an hour commute to the office
