All the power lines being buried are on one street and run in a straight line. Due to the size of the wires, a pull box needs to be installed every 500 feet.
There are three primary activities in burying the power lines:
Dig and install pull box/conduit
Pull wires
Terminate/connect wires
Labor:
A four-man crew can install one pull box and 500 ft of conduit in 2 days.
A seven-man wire crew can test and install 1000 ft of wire per day.
A three-man electrician crew can terminate 7 connections per day.
