you are to prepare a forecasted income statement for your business plan. Answer the following questions: How did you develop your revenue and expense projections? What resources did you use to support your calculations? Were you surprised if you had a net profit or loss?

What is the product or service: a laundromat for college students, a place for cheap that you can do your laundry, buy a cup of coffee. And a nice comfortable area where you can sit and wait for your clean clothes while doing homework with free internet. The unmet consumer needs a place where you're not judge for doing homework and waiting for your clean clothes. For the college students that live on their own, a nice safe place. I believe there is a good market for this product and service, as a college kid my self i never lived on campus and their is no laundry where I live, and i have to spend hours there waiting for my clothes, I always do my homework when i wait but the chairs are uncomfortable, no internet and no coffee or snacks. So i have to bring it with me and people judge me or i have to go somewhere else and comeback and watch people judge me for being there. I'm young and they believe you shouldn't be there. The revenue should be good, one there is a market for laundry mats, and one for college kids in a college town where there are three colleges within an half an hour away from each other. There is a good market and onc the word gets out there will be revenue and earning. The only competition is other laundry mats but none will have coffee and snacks and free wifi. Other laundry mats could easily add these services to theirs if they wish and that will cause new competition. Laundromat aren't a young persons thin got go hang out, so its going to be hard to get the word out about the new business, and it might have to have different hours then moat to get the ideal costumer, they don't want to wake up early to go do laundry. So we wil, have to adjust for our ideal market. But i believe this is a great idea.
