You have recently founded a consulting firm in the domain of Operational Excellence (OPEX) for Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), You have decided to send an advertisement of your firm to an industry journal that targets SMEs explaining the importance of OPEX and how it can help their
operations, Given this context, you have decided to answer the following questions in your advertisement.

a) What are the top three problem categories in a firm that can be targeted by OPEX? You are not expected to state very narrow or specific problem statements. Instead, you are expected to widely identify categories of problems to widely appeal to SMEs. Also, choose problems that will be relevant for SMEs in the current VUCA environment to appeal to them.

b) What are the different practices (also tools and techniques) that can be adopted from OPEX to solve the top three problem categories you have identified? List and describe two practices for each problem category identified. The description should also explain how the practices will be
implemented. The practices can be borrowed from lean, six sigma and TQM but the fit between the practice identified and problem category to which it is mapped has to be dearly justified.

c) What performance measures will you record for monitoring the impact of implementation of different practices identified? For each practice identified, list and describe three performance measures. Explain how you expect those performance measures to improve after the
implementation of different practices identified. You can answer the above three questions in tabulated format as shown below.
