You now have become familiar with at least the names of the 4 P's of marketing. One of the ways each individual will use this is when you graduate and start applying for jobs. You are responsible for promoting yourself in the best light possible. Therefore, your project due this week, will be constructing a POWERPOINT (not Keynote, not Google Slides, etc.) of the 4 P's of you. 1) Product - Tell us about graduation plans, what do you intend to do as a college graduate? What classes do you have left to get there and how will you try to get the most out of your remaining education? Include a table showing what classes you will take each semester to insure an ontime graduation. 2) Price - What will your starting budget look like? What is the average for the job title you are hoping to achieve? Where will you live with this, budget for bills/food/entertainment. This is easiest put together in a table to showcase. 3) Promotion - what makes you stand out from other candidates with your same degree and career plans? (Don't just tell me that you are hardworking....everyone says that!) 4) Place - where do you hope to live and start your career? Why? Is it a good spot for your career goal? close to family? Reasonable rent prices? GET CREATIVE WITH THIS, remember this is your chance to put a marketing mix together to showcase yourself...the product you know best!
Each P should be on a different slide with at least five sentences of detail explaining yourself thoroughly.
