You could also compare your mean reaction time to that of another person or your reaction times to different reaction time tests. There are endless options for your two groups or 2 conditions - be creative (as long as you are "of age")! To collect your data, go to one (or more) of the websites on the handout and repeat the reaction time test at least 40 times under each condition. This will result in TWO samples of at least 40 data values. (I would recommend that you practice your chosen test(s) a few times before you start recording reaction times.) If you have another project in mind, describe your idea to me. The requirements are that you have two independent samples, quantitative data, and each sample size should be at least 40. You can use a classmate for data collection, but both of you need your own 2 sets of data for the project. You can't share data. Describe how you collected the data - was it on a laptop? Using a mouse? Touchpad? Touch screen? On your phone? Use Insert Table to put a table into your document, a 5x8 or 4x10 table works well. There will be a separate table for each sample. Check carefully that you have typed your data correctly. I will use your data to check all of your calculations and if you have a typo, it will look like everything is wrong Indicate which website(s) you used. First, think of a question you can answer or a claim that you can test with your data. Include some kind of motivation for your question or claim.What do you expect your results to be and why? (As an example, (don't use this one!) "I collected data on my reaction times in the morning and my reaction times in the evening. I would like to test the claim that my reactions are slower in the morning, around 8:00 AM, than in the evening, around 8:00 PM. I think this is true because I feel more alert in the evening than in the morning.")
