you will read Chapter 15 dealing with Uniformed Police Services. This rather large and diverse group is closest to local police departments. You know them when you see them as they wear a uniform, while the majority of officers/agents we have discussed this term are in plain clothes. Also, they are usually in the Washington, D.C. area while doing their duties. Remember, Washington, D.C. does not fall within the boundaries of any State, and therefore, needs its own law enforcement agency.

Please watch the three videos in this Module; caution...they are pretty lame...and after you read the chapter discuss one of the units covered. Please d a little more research on the organization you decide to writ about.
