Your Character Sheet: Part 1

In the small business world your character is important. You are creating a character to complete several 'quests' (assignments). Each assignment you complete will result in experience points that you will allocate to specific character traits.

Instructions: Create a 'character sheet' (or use the example provided) for an imaginary (or real) business owner that includes the following:

A brief description of the business your character will operate (one short paragraph - this is the SAME business you will describe in Quest 1).

A brief statement that describes why you have selected the business for the character.

Your character sheet will include the 5 core traits that are selected in the class discussion. In addition, you will select up to 5 additional traits or abilities to include in your character sheet. The additional can come from the class list, or from traits that you deem important to the character. Your character sheet is an individual assignment. (The related Quests 1 & 2 can be completed in groups).

Follow the directions in the attached Character Sheet Template. List each of the 5 core and optional traits on your character sheet. For each trait, include a brief statement to explain why it is important to the success of the character.

Allocate your initial character points: You have 100 character points to distribute among your selected traits. All points must be allocated. The more points you allot to a trait, the greater the ability.

After completing Quests 1 & 2 you will receive additional experience points to allocate to your character. Additionally, you may receive bonus points through the course that will also be allocated to your character traits.
