Your client is one of ten grandchildren. All the grandchildren were left a farm as a bequest in a will by their late grandfather. The following problems have arisen: i) The eldest grandchild says that as he is the eldest, he is entitled to decide who gets the use of the farm; ii) The third eldest grandchild lived on the farm with the grandfather. He says that as he will continue to stay there, all the profits derived from farming activities will be his. He is of the opinion that the other nine grandchildren can use the farm for recreational purposes only; iii) Your client tells you that the farm is losing money because of a drought and that he would like to sell his one tenth of the farm. He has found somebody who is interested in purchasing one tenth of the farm land itself; iv) The grandfather's will stipulates that the joint ownership may never be terminated and remains in the family from generation to generation in perpetuity. Advise your client with regards to each of the abovementioned problems
