Value statements are expressions that list a company’s core beliefs in a clear and concise manner. Value statements are written to provide employees with guiding principles by which to operate through unclear decision-making circumstances. A statement of values can also be useful for an organization trying to connect with the consumers of its products or services. What would the core values of your new company be? Choose four to five key values that you want everyone in your company to live by. Create a value statement for each so that all employees can more fully understand how they are expected to operate while at work.
