Critical Thinking In 1999, several single European nations banded together to form the European Union and converted their individual monetary systems over to the euro.

In June 2016, the U.K. (the only EU country that did not adopt the euro) voted to leave the EU (a plan named Brexit) with the actual separation coming in December 2020. Many are concerned that this will be the beginning of the end for the European Union. What do you think about Brexit and the future of the EU?
