The Journal of Professional Issues in Engineering Education and Practice (Apr. 2005) reported on the results of a 2005 survey of courses offered at undergraduate engineering programs. Of the 90 engineering programs that participated in the 2005 survey, 68 covered fluid mechanics. In a survey taken 20 years earlier (Engineering Education, Apr. 1986), 66 of the 100 undergraduate engineering programs covered fluid mechanics.
